Review & Description

This firesteel has a 5/8" thick rod so you don't have to worry about it breaking or snapping like the other cheaper ones. The handles have a thumb indentation for a secure grip. The handle on the firesteel has a built in compass and the striker has a whistle. They are connected together with a lanyard that is long enough to use the tool so you don't have to worry about losing the striker. The red handles and lanyard makes it easy to spot too.
