An awesome fire making device that causes spontaneous combustion using air in the same way that the Diesel engine does - heat generated by compressed air molecules is used to ignite tinder. Can be used to ignite numerous natural tinders plus charred cotton cloth - which is included with this remarkable hand made item. Made from hand selected and turned seasoned walnut. Overall length when fully extended is 7.5 inches; when compressed 5 inches. Each of our fire pistons is hand made. Each is slightly different; each a completely unique and special item. These are not factory made or mass produced. These are the real deal. This is how the pioneers started their fires on the Western frontier. We ship using Royal Mail Signed for Service or Airsure, which enables you to track your package.
